Central Electric Cooperative's offices in Bend and Sisters will be closed until 2 p.m. today for employee training.

Central Electric Cooperative linemen are responding to an outage in the Madras area impacting over 100 members.. At this time, crews are patrolling lines to determine the cause of the outage. The estimated time to restoration is unknown.

Large outage in the Post area. A crew is enroute to begin patrolling the lines. We will provide an update when we learn more.

Central Electric Cooperative crews are working to repair an underground fault in the Sisters area. Crews have to dig down to the fault. The time to restoration will be several hours. We thank members for their patience.

Due to the Rowe Creek Complex-West Fires encroaching on Mill Creek Road, Lawson Road, Ochoco Highway, Keystone Ranch Road, Hampton Butte Road and Ochoco Ranger Station Road areas, Central Electric Cooperative may initiate an emergency de-energization of power.

Central Electric Cooperative crews are working to determine the cause of an outage in the Sisters area this morning. At this time, over 3,000 members are without power. Once crews determine the cause they will begin repairs. Time to restoration is unknown.

CEC crews continue to make repairs in North Bend. Lightning caused a foreign object to come into contact with CEC lines. Estimated time to restoration has been extended to midnight.

Power has been restored to Indian Ford Road, Wilt Road and Buffalo Drive.
