Residential Rate – Schedule A

Effective October 2025

Applicable

Applicable to domestic use of all residential customers. Service under the Residential Rate shall apply only to single phase electric service in a single-family house, separately metered single-family apartment, mobile homes and domestic farm. Private dwellings in which space is occasionally used for the conduct of business by a person residing therein will be served under the Residential Rate. Where a portion of a dwelling is used regularly for the conduct of business, the electricity consumed in that portion so used, will be separately metered and billed under the General Service Rate. If separate circuits are not provided by the customer, the entire premises shall be classified as nonresidential and billed accordingly. The Residential Rate shall not apply to service to institutions such as clubs, fraternities, orphanages, or nursing homes; recognized rooming or boarding houses; the space in an apartment or other residential buildings primarily devoted to use as an office or studio for professional or other gainful purposes.

Type of Service

Alternating current, single phase, 60 cycles at available secondary voltage. Service under this rate classification shall include single phase pumps for domestic use.

Energy Charge

All kWh per billing period @ 8.66¢ per kWh

Facilities Charge

$32.56 per billing period

Minimum Charge

The minimum billing period charge shall be the facilities charge.

Line Extension Policy

Whenever it is necessary to install new distribution facilities, extend or reinforce existing distribution facilities, the rates and charges above are subject to the provisions of the Central Electric Cooperative, Inc., “Line Extension Policy.”

Delivery Point

The above rates are based upon the supply of service through a single delivery point, and a single voltage. Separate supply for the same customer at other points of consumption, or at a different voltage, shall be separately metered and billed.

Rules and Regulations

Service under this classification is subject to present and future rules and regulations of Central Electric Cooperative, Inc.
