Generator interconnection and wheeling service is available throughout the Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. service area through existing facilities of adequate capacity subject to the technical requirements of Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. The facility must comply with all requirements set forth in the Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. Interconnection and Wheeling policy.
Applicable
Applicable to a power generation facility that is located within Central Electric Cooperative, Inc.’s service territory and on the Interconnection Member’s premises that interconnects to Central Electric Cooperative, Inc.’s transmission and/or distribution facilities and uses them to wheel power to the wholesale power grid. If the Interconnection Member’s generation is connected to the Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. distribution system, the member must pay both the distribution and transmission wheeling charges because both systems will be required to wheel the generated power to the wholesale power grid.

Distribution Connected – Total Nameplate Capacity $6.11 per kW per billing period
Transmission Connected – Total Nameplate Capacity $1.50 per kW per billing period
Definition
Wheeling is the use of CEC’s transmission and/or distribution facilities to transmit generated power within Central Electric Cooperative, Inc.’s service territory to a point of connection with the wholesale power grid.
Measurement of Wheeling Demand
The wheeling charge will be based on the total nameplate capacity at the Interconnection Member’s generation facility as specified in the customer’s Interconnection and Wheeling agreement and will be billed on a CEC determined billing cycle throughout the year, regardless of whether power is being generated or not.
Losses
Losses between the point of interconnection and the point of delivery shall be calculated by Central Electric Cooperative, Inc.
