Residential Rate Design Changes
PrintThis rate class’s new design includes two charge categories: kilowatt-hour charges and facilities charges. Biennially, members will see a slight increase to their facilities charge offset by an overall net decrease in their energy charge, dependent on no unforeseen changes, until 2025. This rate class accounts for the vast majority of memberships, approximately 88.6% in 2019. Kilowatt-hour rate projections include no assumptions about inflation or future Bonneville Power Administration rate increases.
