Automatic Credit Card Payments
Central Electric would like to offer you a convenient way to pay your monthly electric bill using the Automatic Credit Card Payment program.
- There are no additional fees to use this option.
How Automatic Credit Card Payment Works
After you sign up, continue to pay your bill as usual. When our bill shows the words “Credit Card” at the bottom right, you are enrolled.
After that, your payment will be made automatically, using Visa, MasterCard or Discover, on the due date of the bill.
For your convenience, you will continue to receive a monthly statement. It will tell you how much electricity you have used, how much money you owe, and verifies your Visa or MasterCard will be charged.
- Log into SmartHub and select “Auto Pay Accounts” listed under the “Billing & Payments” tab. There will be an option here to sign up for the program.
Sign-Up By Mail
- Print the Credit Card Payment Application (PDF), fill out completely and return the application to our office. Call us at 541-548-2144 with the card information.
