For mobile users, the SmartHub app, downloadable from iTunes or Google Play, offers these functionalities in a convenient, on-the-go format. This app is a handy solution for managing your electricity-related needs directly from your smartphone.

SmartHub PSPS Notification Sign-Up

There are 10 steps total to complete registration.

On the CEC website, the Account Login button will take you to SmartHub Online Payments.

Enter your email address and password to login. Don’t have an account? Click the register now.

On the main SmartHub account page, click on the Settings tab located on the left-hand side of the page. Click on Contact Methods.

On this page, you can add your email and phone contact. Use the email or mobile number you use frequently. If you would like to receive text messages, click yes in the drop-down menu. Accept the terms and conditions and then click save.

With SMS Text messaging you will receive a validation code from SmartHub.

Insert that validation code number into the box on your computer screen.

Your phone number is now registered in contacts.

Next, in the settings tab on the left hand side, click the Manage Notifications link.

Click on the On Demand drop down menu.

In this menu, you will see Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS). Indicate you want to receive an email or text and click Save.
